1. When does this message appear?
This message is displayed when the software of your Mr Beam does not recognize the bottom plate. This always happens when the sensors on the bottom of the Mr Beam are disturbed. The sensors can be disturbed by several factors:
- The base plate was incorrectly mounted after a change or cleaning. As a result, the magnets in the base plate are seated incorrectly and the sensors no longer detect them.
- The Mr Beam is standing on a sloping surface.
- There is a strong magnet in the work surface or on the white safety surround. The magnet can interfere with the sensors of the Mr Beam.
2. What can you do about it?
- The base plate was incorrectly mounted after a change or cleaning. As a result, the magnets in the base plate are seated incorrectly and the sensors no longer detect them.
- Please check the mounting of your base plate. You can recognize an incorrect assembly by the fact that the base plate protrudes into one of the handles on the side of the Mr Beam.
- Missing screws are not only an incorrect assembly, but also a safety risk. So always make sure you screw all the screws back in after cleaning.
- Incorrect handling can cause the magnets to fall out of the base plate. If this is the case, please contact support for a replacement.
- The Mr Beam stands on a sloping surface.
- Please make sure that the Mr Beam is placed on a straight, level surface. This is the only way to ensure the correct function of the lower sensors.
- There is a strong magnet in the work surface or on the white safety border. The magnet can interfere with the sensors of the Mr Beam.
- Remove this magnet from the case. You shouldn't have any problems with lighter magnets like the clips from our store. Even better would be the Mr Beam Cutting Sti[x] if you want to be absolutely sure.
If you have fixed all these errors, the message should disappear after a hard refresh at the latest. However, if it still appears, please contact our support by creating a ticket.
