Export Analysis Data & Use the Support Stick

For BeamOS v2.5.0 or higher

Starting from version 2.5.0, you no longer need a USB stick.

You can download the analysis data directly from the software:

  1. Go to "About this Mr Beam"
  2. Download the analysis data

Note: In some cases, Chrome may block the download. If that happens, please manually mark the file as safe.

? Then send us the file via your support ticket (e.g. using WeTransfer).

For BeamOS v2.4.7 or lower

This section is intended for users who received a .sig file from the Mr Beam support team to create an analysis support stick.

The support stick collects detailed usage, log, and diagnostic data from your Mr Beam device. After use, this data will be saved as a ZIP file on the USB stick.

Note: This file may contain personal data, such as recently captured camera images. We use this data exclusively for troubleshooting purposes.

Using the Support Stick – 4 Steps

WARNING: Any active laser jobs will be stopped immediately.

1. Create a folder named mrbeam on a USB stick and copy the .sig file into it.

Requirements:

  • At least 100 MB of free storage
  • USB 2.0 compatible
  • Formatted as FAT32
  • Only one .sig file on the USB stick

For more details, see:  Support Stick Guide

2. Insert the USB stick into your Mr Beam. After a few seconds, a white light pattern will appear.

3. Once your Mr Beam shows a bright green light, remove the USB stick.

Duration: approx. 30 seconds

4. Open the mrbeam folder on the USB stick and send the generated ZIP file to support.

Done! Our support team will analyze the data and get back to you as soon as possible.
