If the positioning of your laser results don’t exactly match the preview, in most cases it is due to the missing object height setting. Starting from an object height of 3 mm the preview image differs from the actual laser result.

However, this can be easily fixed by setting the correct object height in the Mr Beam software. This setting can be found in the left panel. There you can either adjust the slider, or enter the number directly. The maximum height Mr Beam can laser at is 38 mm.

Important: Don't forget to include the height of the cutting mat in case you are using one. It is about 10 mm high.

Furthermore, please don't forget to focus the laser head. You can read more about how this works in this article.

Finally, you should also be aware that the camera preview is more accurate when you laser in the center of the work space, since the camera is also placed in the center of the Mr Beam.

If you've taken all this into consideration, but still have problems with misalignment, you can try to calibrate your camera. You can learn how this works in this article. Additionally you can contact our friendly support team. You can either create a ticket at this link, or click the support button directly in the software, and then submit the ticket via Help & Support.
