1. When does this message appear?
This message is displayed before you want to start a laser job and when the software of your Mr Beam does not recognize the protective lid. You will then be prompted to close the lid even though it is already closed.
This happens whenever the sensors for detecting the lid are disturbed. The sensors can be disturbed by several factors:
- The protective cover does not close evenly on both sides, or even gets caught on one of the edges of the housing.
- The Mr Beam stands on a sloping surface.
- A magnet is located near the protective cover, which means that the sensors can no longer detect the magnets of the protective cover.
2. What can you do about it?
- The protective cover does not close evenly on both sides, or even gets caught on one of the edges of the housing.
- Make sure that the protective cover closes evenly again. The closing mechanism or the gas struts may be bent. In this case, please create a ticket.
- The Mr Beam stands on a sloping surface.
- Please make sure that the Mr Beam is placed on a straight, level surface. This is the only way to ensure the correct function of the lower sensors.
- A magnet is located near the protective cover, which means that the sensors can no longer detect the magnets of the protective cover.
- Remove this magnet from/from the housing.
If you have fixed all these errors, the message should disappear after a hard refresh at the latest. However, if it still appears, please contact our support by creating a ticket.
